Optical Testing for LED Strips Used in Smart Mirrors | DZOPTO
A check on strip output and color before OEM and ODM lighting kits are approved.
DZOPTO supplies touch switches, power supplies, LED strips and demister films for smart mirrors. OEM and ODM orders are built on SMT, inspection and optical test. This page explains optical testing on the strip, not on a finished mirror.

Where optical testing sits
Touch and power boards go through SMT and AOI. Strips need a separate light check. Output and color are measured on sample lengths before a lot is cut and packed for a mirror factory.
Production uses an EVERFINE integrating sphere for this measurement. The sphere gives a controlled reading of the strip sample. It does not replace viewing the strip on the customer’s glass and channel.

What the test is meant to compare
Sample versus the approved golden sample
Lot-to-lot output and color
Whether a development change moved CCT or lumen too far
Visual checks still matter for appearance and solder. The sphere is for numbers the eye cannot hold from lot to lot.
What this means for an OEM or ODM order
OEM: you set target CCT, CRI and length. Testing follows that target after the first sample is signed off.
ODM: testing follows the current strip platform. A new CCT or density is a new target. A length-only cut on the same board usually keeps the same optical target per meter.
